Privacy Policy
Draft prepared 9 October 2026 · Not effective
1. Who handles your information
Landication is operated by Quantdigital Pty Ltd (ABN 72 673 414 287), based in South Australia. This draft describes the proposed website and membership service. It does not claim that the document or the deployed service has been certified as compliant with the Australian Privacy Principles.
2. Information collected or supplied
- Account and profile details, such as your name, email, username and optional contact or organisation information.
- If you use Google sign-in, the account identifier and profile information returned for that sign-in, such as your name, email and profile image.
- Property addresses, saved properties, search records, budgets, model inputs and analysis associated with your account.
- Membership status and transaction information needed to manage subscriptions and refunds when Stripe payments are enabled.
- Timestamps and categories of recorded paid analysis use, linked to your account, to help review refund requests. These operational records do not contain the analysis inputs or report contents.
- Information you give us in enquiries or support conversations, and technical information associated with operating the website, including sign-in records and session cookies.
- Limited website activity for Housing markets, suburb exploration, maps and Property Finder: the feature used, visit time, a broad referral category, selected action categories and estimated active time. A pseudonymous visitor or account identifier helps measure return visits. The analytics event fields exclude names, email addresses, full URLs, search text, property addresses and financial inputs. No session recording is enabled.
- Security events, such as rejected data requests or failed administrator verification, including timestamps and a short-lived IP address. Administrators normally see a masked IP; revealing a retained full IP requires owner access and creates an audit record.
Income and loan information is supplied voluntarily and used only for the model calculations you choose. Document uploads are not available at launch. Do not provide passwords, card security codes or another person’s private information without appropriate authority.
3. How information is used
Account information is used to sign you in and maintain your account. Property and budget information is used to run selected calculations, preserve your saved work and provide the website features you use. Membership and transaction information is used for billing, renewal, cancellation and refund administration. Support information is used to address your enquiry. Relevant information may also be needed to address misuse, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations.
Financial inputs are not used to recommend a particular lender or loan product through the current service. They are used only for the model calculations you choose; this draft does not authorise their use to train an external AI system.
Limited activity statistics help us understand which features work and where data or service errors occur. The browser activity collector honours Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Essential account, security and request-limit records remain necessary to operate and protect the service.
4. Service providers, external links and sponsors
Operating the service involves providers for hosting and storage, authentication, payments and communications. They receive information needed for their respective functions. For example, Stripe handles payment information when you pay and Google supports Google sign-in.
The launch configuration enables PostHog Cloud analytics after a valid project token is supplied. Its selected US or EU region and applicable retention settings must be reflected in this policy before deployment. When configured, it receives the allowlisted activity categories and pseudonymous identifier, with IP-based location enrichment disabled. A direct connection still exposes the network source IP to the service provider; this is not a promise of anonymous network communication.
Our current mortgage-broker introduction consists of displaying contact details or a link. We may receive a financial benefit from the introduction, disclosed with the relevant contact information or link. You choose whether to contact the broker and what information to give them. We do not forward your contact details or financial documents as part of that introduction. The broker’s own privacy practices apply to information you provide directly to them.
Builder cooperation or sponsorship does not authorise us to supply sponsors or property agents with your contact information, enquiry content or property requirements. Other disclosures may be required or permitted by applicable law.
5. Storage and overseas processing
Our hosting and database services are currently located in Singapore. Other service providers may process information outside Australia. A proposed future move to Australia has not yet occurred; this policy must be updated to reflect actual arrangements when they change.
6. Membership cancellation and retained information
Stopping membership renewal does not delete your account. Saved properties, budgets and search records remain associated with it after cancellation. There is currently no scheduled clean-up of long-inactive accounts, and account deletion through customer support is not currently offered.
The local analytics retention policy keeps daily aggregates for up to 365 days, pseudonymous visitor activity for 30 days, raw security IP addresses for 7 days, and administrator audit records for 180 days. Closed support cases expire 180 days after their last update. Full click-by-click histories are not stored locally. Retention cleanup runs during activity and through server maintenance; the deployment must schedule maintenance even during quiet periods. Retained backups have a separate rotation schedule, so expired information may remain in a protected backup until that backup is replaced.
These statements describe the current arrangements; they do not override any applicable legal obligation to dispose of information that is no longer needed or any legally required retention of transaction or other records.
7. Younger users
People of all ages may browse the website. Users under 18 need a parent or guardian’s consent before purchasing membership. Where a child cannot understand and validly consent to proposed personal-information handling, consent must come from an appropriate parent or guardian. Document uploads are not available at launch.
This is a proposed user rule, not a claim that age or parental consent has already been verified for every account. The practical consent arrangements must be completed before the relevant features are offered.
8. Access, correction and privacy enquiries
Any rights to access or correct your information, or to make a privacy complaint, depend on the applicable law and are not removed by the absence of an account-deletion service.
For personal-information access or correction enquiries and privacy complaints, email info@landication.com. The process for handling enquiries must be confirmed before this policy becomes effective.
